Aiding the Improvement of Mental Health in Young Individuals

Our goal is to serve as a beacon of hope, positivity, and encouragement in the lives of children, especially those who are the offspring of immigrants. Our staff members are there for young ones because of this purpose.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who can help us achieve our goal of improving the mental state of immigrant children. We are currently looking for Children’s Mental Health Therapists and a Mental Health Practitioner.

Child/Adolescent and Family Therapist

We are looking for a therapist who has experience working with children ages 2-12 years of age who are impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, stress within the family system, ADHD etc. A qualified candidate would be comfortable working closely with families to help support their child’s therapy.

Child Adolescent and Family Therapist: Responsibilities include therapeutic sessions, diagnostic assessments as well as corresponding documentation. Maintaining HIPPA regulations and providing a compassionate environment to enable our clients to heal.

We are looking for candidates with a masters or doctorate who are licensed, with at least 1 year of therapy experience with children and families. It is beneficial to have a solid foundation in the understanding of the impact of early childhood trauma and specific approaches for treating anxiety and depression.

Therapists with experience working with diverse populations and individuals who are impacted by socio-economic stressors are encouraged to apply.

This is an independent contractor position with much flexibility. Options for part or full time work. We are looking for therapists who have strong organizations skills, able to create their own structure and work easily with a team. We offer competitive rates for compensation.

Required education:

  • Master’s

Required experience:

  • Therapy: 2 years

Required license or certification:

  • LICSW, LMAFT, LPCC, LP

Mental Health Practitioner

A mental health practitioner for a child recipient must have training working with children. We aim to help children develop age-appropriate coping skills, decrease aggression and/or self-defeating behaviors, improve family support systems, develop positive relationships with adults and peers, and improve functioning in the home, school, and community.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide individual skills training, and family skills training in a school or community based setting
  • Mental Health Practitioners on the licensure track will also have the opportunity to complete diagnostic assessments and therapy under supervision
  • Develop therapeutic relationships, teaching skills and supporting clients as they practice skills
  • Establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with each client
  • Prepare individualized documentation for each session
  • Coordinate services with school staff, families/guardians of clients, case managers, and medical personnel, as appropriate

Qualifications: Must be qualified in one of the following ways:

  • Master’s or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
